Dennis Lawrence Osborne, II, 64, of Cross Lanes passed away suddenly at home on April 12, 2006.
He was born May 9, 1941, in Charleston. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Kanawha County Schools after 39 years of service. He was a long time coach and official.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis L. Osborne.
Coach Osborne is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Trena Osborne; daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Bill Mundy; daughter, Karen Osborne; son, Lance Osborne; mother, Mary Ruth Osborne; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Pam Osborne; grandmother, Lona Snodgrass; and 2 grandsons, Matthew and Mitchell Mundy.
The service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, South Charleston, with the Rev. Mark Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2006, at Spring Hill Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Spring Hill Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 4707 Ohio Street, South Charleston, WV 25309.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
