Denver Lee Graley, 83, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2023.
He was born on October 22, 1939 in South Charleston to the late Carl and Dessie Graley.
Denver was a graduate of South Charleston High School. He retired from Joe Holland Chevrolet where he worked for 45 years as a car painter. He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors whether it be walking in his younger years or sitting in his porch swing and watching the birds in more recent years.
Denver loved reading the Bible and going to church where he could learn more about God. He was a member of South Charleston First Church of the Nazarene. Denver loved and never missed and opportunity to tell others about Jesus. He always spoke of how good God was to us and our family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; siblings, Carl Graley, Jr., James Graley, Donald Graley, Mary Rife, and Joseph Graley.
Denver is survived by by his daughters, Dessie King of South Charleston and Margaret Loftis (Steve) of Sissonville; grandsons, Trevor King and Stevie Loftis; sister Rose Holt; brothers, Frank Graley (Bonnie), Carl Graley III, Fred Ferrell, and Richard Ferrell (Carolyn); and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, March 28 at South Charleston First Church of the Nazarene. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
