Denver R. Hill's Obituary
Denver R. "Apple Man" Hill, 81, of Dunbar, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for Dunbar.
He was retired from Union Carbide in South Charleston and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dunbar. Mr. Hill was also a member of the South Charleston Masonic Lodge, Beni Kedem Shrine, Scottish Rite and Order of Eastern Star.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Geraldine Hill; son, Michael Hill of Dunbar; mother, Ocie Hill of Dunbar; brother, Donald Hill of Alum Creek, two step-grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Thomas E. Stevens, Jr. officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites will be in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 25,at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Baptist Church, 16th Street and Myers Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
