Denver Lee Hill, 56, of Nitro, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2006, at his home after an extended illness.
Born on February 2, 1949, he was the son of the late Sylvian and Dana Mae Hill.
He served his country during the Vietnam Conflict.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Rebecca J. Hill; sons, Michael Hill of Poca, and Shawn Hill of Red House; stepchildren, Brian and Michelle Castle both of Hurricane; brothers, Jarrell Hill of Charleston, Guy Hill of Dunbar; sister, Tamara Vance of Charleston.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at HospiceCare, for their kind and generous care they provided Denver during his illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 1 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Buck Casto officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
