Dewey Eugene Schultz, 78, of South Charleston passed away August 23, 2023.

He was born on October 11, 1944 to the late James and Cora Schultz.

After retiring as a South Charleston Police Officer, Dewey went on to work for the State of West Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Helen (Mynes) Schultz; sons, Herman "Gene" Westfall and Patrick Wayne Schultz; brother, Donald Schultz (Birdie) and James "Budge" Schultz; sisters, Freda Schultz Hensley and Betty "Sis" Mallory Schultz.

Dewey is survived by his sister, Anna Schultz; nephew, Junior Schultz; daughters, Sherry Renee Westfall Harrah and Terry Kay Westfall; grandchildren, Herman Eugene "Lil Gene" Westfall, Langdon Good, Kaleb Harrah, Judith Harrah, Terri Good (Danielle), Chelsey Harrah, Mikaya Harrah, Colton Harrah, Brooklin Harrah, Alexia Harrah, Chase Harrah, Karlee Harrah, and Addison Harrah; great-grandchildren, Alivia Westfall, Gabrielle Good, Elliotte Good, Jensen Winship, Aiden Westfall, Christopher Westfall, Katerrinna Winship, Aurora Harrah, Ryan Schultz, and Ezra Martinez-Lopez.

A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Anna Schultz officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
