Dimitri Alec Kyle Coleman, 29, a native of Charleston, was taken away suddenly on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

He was the son of Alvernita Coleman and the late William E. Smith. Dimitri was born on November 11, 1994 at Women and Children's Hospital in Charleston.

He is proceeded in death by his father, William E. Smith; grandparents, Annie Verzetta Coleman, Samuel Coleman, Donald Carter, and William L. Smith.

Those left to cherish Dimitri's memory are his son, Romeo Coleman; daughter, Eastyn Coleman; mother, Alvernita Coleman; brother, Storm Coleman; sisters, Aliyah Coleman, Erica Young, Keleasta Smith, and Kaila James; grandmother, Patricia Carter; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Evangelist Maritiza James officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Family will welcome visitors two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
