Dolly F. Pruden, 86, of Dunbar went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 surrounded by her family.
She was a homemaker and caregiver. Dolly was a member of Dunbar Mountain Mission for 73 years. She was an avid Cincinnati Red's Fan and she enjoyed quilting.
Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Pruden; parents, Dorsey and Edith Starkey; and brothers, Carl, Bill, Robert, and Nick Starkey.
She is survived by her sons, Frank Pruden and his wife, Margaret of Fayetteville and Robert Pruden and his wife, Carla of Bentonville, Ark.; daughters, Becky Thornton and her husband, Butch of Dunbar and Sarah Withrow and her husband, Bill of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Mickie Saunders, Stacy Yost, Vanessa Pruden, Scott Pruden, Amanda Hill, and Tony Withrow; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Bainer, Mickaylah Saunders, Kristian Hill, Allison Bainer, Haydyn Hill, and Khloe Pruden; and sister, Othel Criner. Dolly is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11 at Dunbar Mountain Mission, 605 Dunbar Ave. with Rev. Ron Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10 at Dunbar Mountain Mission.
