Dolores Rhea Huston, 82, of Dunbar went home to be with the Lord on December 19, at Thomas Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Dolores was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Stachie Haynes of Kanawha Two Mile.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert Neal Huston and her sister Dorothy Naomi Koontz.
Dolores was considered the world's best cook to her family. She loved to fill her home with family, friends and food.
Dolores retired in 1995 after many years of faithful service to three of the presidents of CAMC.
She had a passion for collecting angels and serving in her home church, Charleston First Church of the Nazarene.
Dolores is survived by her two daughters, Robin (Danny) Finney of Dunbar and Rhea (Byron) Mills of Maysville, KY; five grandchildren, Jason and Jamie Finney, Emily, Addison and Caleb Mills; One great-granddaughter, Madison Brook Finney; and her brother, C.H. "Jim" Haynes and his wife Barbara of Scott Depot
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 22, at First Church of the Nazarene, Charleston, with the Rev. Randy Lanham and Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 21 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
