Dolores Marie Shafer Walker, 90, went home to join her heavenly family July 9, 2018.

She was a housewife and a part time employee of the Board of Education. She was a graduate of Elkview High School.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James L. Walker; parents Howard and Dollie Shafer; and sister Eloise Brown.

She leaves behind her son, Mike Walker (Jaye); grandchildren, Mikki Keller (Jeff), Monica Walker (Mike Harvey) and Mendi Meadows (Chris); step grandchildren Casey Eskew (Zach), Joshua Staats (Melissa) and Greg Staats; 5 great grandchildren; 8 step great- grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild due in October; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Keller Funeral Home Dunbar. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
