Pauley
February 26, 1929 – April 24, 2010
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Mountaineer Chapter of Korean Veterans. Mr. Pauley was a retired distributor with Sealtest Bordon Ice Cream Co. and was a member of the Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene where he served as an usher for many years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sonny Jo Harvey and David Pauley and by his sister, Betty Krebs .
He was a devoted father and a generous provider for his loving wife, Barbara and his five spoiled rotten children, Donnie, Wayne and Brian Pauley, Cheryl Johnson and Angie Browning and grandchildren, Jeremy, Staci, Justin, Brandon, Brooke, Mark and Brianna and three great grandchildren who along with other family and many friends will miss him greatly. He will forever be in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, at the Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Franklin W. Goff officiating. Entombment with military rites will be in the Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Family and friends are also welcome at the Pauley residence on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family suggests the donations may be made to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
