Donald Eugene Meadows, 90, of Nitro, departed this life December 16, 2017, at Hubbard Hospice House, just 18 days shy of his 70 ^th Wedding anniversary.

He was born March 27, 1927, in Pentacre, son of the late George and Ida Meadows.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Meadows Eastwood, and son, Gary Wayne Meadows.

Donald is survived by his wife, Phyllis Williams Meadows; daughters, Toni (Greg) Yost and Bobbie (Danny) Foster; grandchildren, Shannon Webb, Leslie Meadows, Jennifer Shively and Bryce Foster. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes, a graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20 at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, Upper Mausoleum Chapel.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Kanawha Charleston Humane Association.
