Don Metheny, 80, of South Charleston, a longtime friend and member of Covenant Assembly and Living Word Christian Center, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He was home with his dog, Duke, where he wanted to be.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Delta Force. He was also the former owner of Charleston Truck and Trailer.

Don had many friends who will miss him greatly, so a special thank you to all for their love and support.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Reverend Gary Pickens Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
