Donald Houston Patterson, 63, of Sissonville, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at home.

He was born on October, 18, 1956 in Greenbrier County, to Roberta Casto Burdette.

Donald enjoyed doing many activities, such as hunting and fishing and making wooden canes. He loved to collect marbles. Donald was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carrie Harper; and his father, Richard Burdette.

Donald is survived by his two sons, Jeremy Patterson and his wife Kista of Kenna, and Josh Patterson and his wife Alisha of Sissonville; mother, Roberta Burdette of Sissonville; four sisters, Helen Fields of Sissonville, Robin Carpenter and her husband Roger of Sissonville, Ann Painter of Virginia, and Holly Ridden of Meadow Bridge; seven granddaughters and one grandson, of which he was a very proud grandfather; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins that held a special place in his heart.

As per his wishes, there will be no service.
