Donald R. Tyree, 67, of Dunbar, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in his home after a short battle with cancer.

Don was retired after 24 years as a truck driver for Arrow Concrete, having worked in previous years for Evans Bakery, Cunningham Memorial Park and Kanawha Valley Vault Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Clara Tyree; grandson, Bradley Daniel Tyree.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Gaynell Tyree; daughters, Donna Tyree and companion Jack Samples, Christina Mullins and husband Ray Mullins, Regina Tyree; grandsons, Eric Mullins, Lee Tyree; granddaughters, Tabatha and Brianna Mullins; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bill Burford of Nitro; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Carola of Nitro, Tommy and Helen Tyree of Kansas, Doug and Debbie of Hurricane; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 9, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Victor Keithley officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
