Donna Humphreys Wooten, 87, of Ft. Wayne, IN, passed away on May 12, 2022, at Chapman Place Assisted Living in Ft. Wayne.

She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1953 and Concord College in 1957. One week later she married her college sweetheart, Bob. As his job required they moved frequently; they lived in eight states and 11 cities until retiring in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert L. Wooten; and her parents, Doc and Cynthia Humphreys.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lane of Ft, Wayne IN; son, Greg Wooten (Robin) of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, Ashley Southern (Matthew) of Valdosta, GA, and Chad Lane of Ft. Wayne, IN; great grandchildren, Jayden, Madison, Lexie, and Eli Southern of Valdosta, GA; sisters, Glada "Wendy" Humphreys of Dunbar, Joanna Dunlap of Winfield; brother, Jay Humphreys (Marsha) of Ladson, SC; and many relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar, with Pastor Andrew Gordon officiating.
