Dora Mae Holliday, 68, from Lake Wales, FL., formerly of Nitro, was called to Heaven on May 20, 2022.

She was born on December 25, 1953, in South Charleston, to the late Eugene Angle and Thelma Newcomer.

Dora loved her family and her companion Trinket. She loved going to church and praising the Lord. Dora was a special and kind person. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her church family at Christ Central of Lake Wales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Holliday; and her brother, Terry Angle.

Dora is survived by her daughter, Tammy Burdette (Scott); son, Larry Carroll; grandson, Tyler Burdette; granddaughters, Laylah and Jayden Burdette; brothers and sisters, Ray Angle (Stephanie), Jerry Angle, Libby Blickley (Jack), Kim Kelley (Brett) and Jimmie Newcomer (Susie).

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
