Obituary

Doris Kathleen Fraser, 83 years young, went home to be with the Lord after a series of illnesses on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007.

Doris was a former employee of the Diamond Dept. Store in Charleston and Garrett's Dept. Store in South Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. "Bob" Fraser and her youngest son, David "Eddie" Fraser.

She is survived by her son, Johnny; her grandson, Tyler Jack Fraser, who was the apple of her eye; "his sister" Vicki and her husband, Archie, her brother, and sister-in-law, Bob and Lola James, a beloved nephew, Phil Brick, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and their families who loved her dearly; Paula Miller and Sharon Walker, her caregiver, the Turners, the Ramseys, the Duffys, the Carters, the Chapmans, Kitty Dingess, Mary Lou Oxley, Rita Browning, Wilma Neal, Don Matheny and many more special friends who loved her and watched over her as their "own."

She will be greatly missed, but for only a season for all those looking for our Lord's appearing!

Private family viewing will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 19, followed by visitation at noon. The celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m., Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Mickey Rice, the Rev. Richard Mahan and the Rev. Gary Pickens officiating. Interment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans.
