Doris J. Plumley Burdette, 86, of Dunbar went home with our Lord and Savior on January 30, 2025 at CAMC General Division.

She was retired from CAMC after 30 years of service.  She loved sewing, cross stitching, and her beloved pet Zella.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Yewell Plumley and Crystal Cavender Plumley; her husband, Carl F. Burdette; brothers, Denver, Gary, and Norman Plumley, Sr.; daughter, Patti Hanson; son, Michael A. Burdette; and granddaughter, Tiffanie Milam.

She is survived by her children, Randall Milam (Jackie) of Charleston, Karen Foster of Dunbar, and Charles Milam of Raleigh, NC;  along with seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Harper Memorial Gospel Tabernacle, 4431 Big Tyler Road, Charleston, WV 25313, with Pastor Jim Russell officiating.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at the church.
