Dorothy Lynn High Basham, 60, of Dunbar, passed away on October 21, 2017 of a sudden illness with pancreatic cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Payne High; brother, Lawrence J. High; and brother-in-law, Mike Boggs.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Robert LaBianca of Dunbar; daughter, Katelyn Smith of South Charleston; grandchildren, Bryauna and Dwayne England; sister, Margaret Boggs of St. Albans; brother, Mike High (Melissa) of Hurricane; sister-in-law, Joetta High of Dunbar; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Dorothy will be remembered for fixing many feasts with limited supplies on hand.

She will be cremated and a small family gathering will be held at a later date.
