Dorothy Blair Bitner, 90, of Cross Lanes, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Gallipolis, OH.

She was born on December 11, 1926 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Ernest and Nellie Blair.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Otis Blair; sister, Ruby Wofford; and her husband, Raleigh W. Bitner, Jr, who she married on June 4, 1954 in Washington, DC.

She was a loving and devoted mother and memaw and is survived by her children, Raleigh W. Bitner III and wife, Anne, of St. Albans, WV, Lori Ward and husband, Tim, of Gallipolis, OH and Tina Bragg Scala and husband, Nick, of Cross Lanes, WV; grandchildren, Tom Bragg, Sarah and Rachel Bitner, and Lindsey, Jeremy, Heather and Eric Ward; and her best friend for over 80 years, Aline Bell.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 6, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
