Obituary

Dorsel M. Greenlee, 89, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 surrounded by his family.

Dorsel was born February 8, 1922 in Leon, Mason County, WV to Millard A. and Pearl Little Greenlee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Edna Marian Burdette Greenlee. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Greenlee, Delbert Greenlee and Ronald Greenlee and seven sisters, Norma Stewart, Edna Knapp, Hazel Schrieber, Freeda Stewart, Belva McClure, Thelma Dunlap and Vesta Harris.

Mr. Greenlee is survived by his daughters, Audella Clark and her husband, Ted of Hurricane and Jane Covert and her husband, Wallace of Cross Lanes; grandchildren , Todd Given, Aaron Given and Jeff Covert. Great grandchildren are Joseph, Jacob, Joshua, Aaron Given and Gracie Covert.

He was a longtime member of Dunbar First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and on the Board of Trustees.

He was a former employee of Fletcher Enamel Co., Denny Hill Construction and was co-owner of Moles and Greenlee Construction.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Phillip Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Leon Cemetery, Leon.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
