Earl Lee Hill, 72, of South Charleston, sailed to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

He was born on June 6, 1950 in South Charleston, to the late Leo and Wanda Hill.

Earl loved his trains and woodworking. He was a Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Earl is survived by his three children, Annie-Lori Forrey and her husband Shawn of New Hampshire, Earl R. Hill of Red House and Erica Hill of South Charleston; three grandchildren, Tyler Forrey, Bethany Forrey and Thomas Tucker; three sisters, Joyce Murphy, Dixie McKay and Wanda "Crickette" Ratliff; one brother, Curtis Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the CPICU at CAMC Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Lee Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery, South Charleston, with military honors.
