Edith Ballard's Obituary
Edith Wilson Ballard, 83, of Charleston, passed away Aug. 16, 2006 at CAMC General Division.
She was a homemaker and a native of Cabin Creek, WV.
Edith was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, David "Hank" Ballard.
Mrs. Ballard is survived by her children, Glenna Kay Mason and David M. "Mike" Ballard of Charleston, Sue Means of Virginia Beach, Va., Jimmy Ballard and Linda Ballard of Charleston; sisters, Ozell Wilson and Peggy Stewart of Charleston, Helen Arthur of Bancroft; brothers, Junior Wilson and Eddie Wilson of Charleston, Homer Wilson of Mechanicville, Md; Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Edith was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, sister and caring friend to many who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, August 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. David Wall and the Rev. Harold Burton Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, Ruth.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, August 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
