Edna Mae Parsons' Obituary
Edna Mae Parsons, 87, of Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Mae was born April 4, 1923, in Roane County, WV, to the late William H. and Mollie E. Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Holley E. Parsons; sons, Ernest A. Parsons and Emory Dean Parsons; sisters, Elsie Jones, Emogene Tanner, Lula Southall, Lucy Davis, Dorothy Wagner.
Mrs. Parsons is survived by her daughter, Ruth A. Harper of Charleston; sisters, Garnett Rowley of Poca, Mary Snodgrass of Charleston; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 4, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Jack Withrow officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, September 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
