Obituary

Edna Marie Sharp, 74, of Dunbar, passed away on December 13, 2015.

She was a lifelong member of Park United Methodist Church in Akron, Ohio.

Edna worked at the Dunbar Fas-Chek for many years in the Deli. She enjoyed traveling, family reunions and collecting angels. Edna was a great baker of unique cakes.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife who always put others before herself.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Guy Sharp ; parents, Charles and Edna Bard; son, Stephen D. Sharp, brothers, George and Charles E. Bard, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Sharp and wife, Elizabeth, of Arizona and Scott Sharp and wife, Cindy, of St. Albans; daughter, Deborah Frasher and husband, Hank, of Wayne; grandchildren, Nicholas Sharp, Joshua Sharp, Kassandra French (Kyle) and Stephanie Frasher; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Cooper; brothers, John Bard of Texas, Joe, Daniel and David Bard of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Mary Reedy of Florida, Kathy Steffee and Margert Gohke of Akron, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews and other family; special friends, Frank, Pat, Gloria, Jack, and Imogene; and her neighbors.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Jonathan Lilly and his staff at Dunbar Medical, along with her other doctors for taking care of our mother.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Jake Steele officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home.

Edna will be cremated and a private burial will take place in Sharp Family Cemetery at a later date.
