Edna Marie "Janey" Smith, 87, of Dunbar, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at the Hubbard Hospice House with her daughter, Diana and nephew, Bruce by her side.

She was a homemaker and the number one Mountaineer fan. She was loved by everyone. She attended McKinnon Presbyterian Church and was a longtime resident of the Tyler Mountain area.

Janey was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Smith; sons, Punk and Billy Smith; granddaughter, Kelly Dawn Smith; brother, Sonny Bowen; sisters, Faye Robinson and Myrtle Clendenin.

Surviving are her daughter, Diana Lickliter of Dunbar; brothers, Frederick Bowen and his wife, Carol of Cross Lanes and Marion Bowen of Kenna; sisters, Velva Price of Charleston, Barbara Ann Frass and husband, Bill of Calif and Mary Robertson and her husband, Bobby of Williamsburg, Va. Also surviving are grandchildren, Amy Sloan (Richard), Shelly Douglas (Johnny), Chris Smith and Eric Smith (Christa), nine great grandchildren, one new great grandchild expected any day, a special nephew, Bruce Price, and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Brian Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Bowen Cemetery, Tyler Mountain.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
