Edward "Ed" Moore
On May 23, 2014, Dad traded in his home here on earth for a new Heavenly Mansion made just for him. He is in the arms of our Lord and Savior, and is reunited with the love of his life Helen; his mother and father, Charles and Mary; and brothers, Larry and Terry.
Those left to cherish his memories are his five loving children, Eddie (Betty), Ricky, Jimmy (Janette), Bill, and Sara Hudnall (Clark); the apples of his eye (grandchildren), Angie and Little Clark all of Charleston; sisters, Ida, Evelyn, Nancy, and Annette, of Bridgeton, NJ; brothers, Butch of Bridgeton, NJ, Arthur, and Tommy of Nitro; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of other loved ones.
He retired with 25 years of service with the Charleston Fire Department and was a proud member of the IAFF Professional Fire Fighters Local 317. He was a member of the Cathedral of Prayer Baptist Church.
Dad will be sadly missed by all whose lives he has touched throughout his life. Even though he is gone to a better place we will cherish the memories we have made with him.
Rest in peace dad, we all love you very much and will see you on the other side.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Terry Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
Friends may call two hours prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers the family would request donations be made to Alzheimer Association 1601 2nd Ave., Charleston, WV 25312, in the memory of Dad.
