Edward M. Owens' Obituary
Edward Martin "Eddie" Owens, Jr., 45, of Dunbar, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, at CAMC – General Division.
He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and was a truck driver for Lyons Trucking Company. Eddie was also a veteran of the US Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Ann Owens; sons, Michael Scott Owens of Teays Valley and Edward Martin "Marty" Owens, III at home; mother, Ruth E. Owens; grandmother, Runa Johnson; brother, Mark A. Owens of Charleston; sister-in-law, Dawn Owens; sister, Debra K. Hostetter and husband, John of Waynesboro, Va.; niece, Taylor Owens; nephews, William and John Brown and Mark and Jesse Owens. Eddie is also survived by several close aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Bruce Young officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
