Edward Earl "Tyler" Tolbert went home to be with the LORD on June 11, 2025.

He was born to Emma Francis Sanson Tolbert and Cleo Wilber Tolbert on March 17, 1952 in St. Albans, West Virginia.

Edward loved the LORD JESUS and shared his faith and love of the LORD with many.  He loved "old hymns", bluegrass gospel, and going to church.  Edward enjoyed classic cars and hunting, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends, and loved ones.

His loved ones are comfortable knowing he is now with his beloved LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.  Edward is very loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Carolynn Lovejoy, James Tolbert, Cleo "Cork" Tolbert, Wanda, Cynthia, and his son, Shaun Tolbert.

Edward is survived by his wife of 25 years, Machelle C. Tolbert; children, Mike Tolbert, Stephen Tolbert, and Susan Taylor (James) of Cross Lanes; sisters, Pauline, Bonnie, Mary, and Sandra; brothers, James and Ronald; grandchildren, Makenize, Mahaley, ShaLissa, Steven, Hannah, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Vivian, Braxton and Bryson Russell; along with nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and staff for all of their care and kindness.
