Edward Ray Washington, 47, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 30, 2017.

He was born on December 24, 1969 in Charleston, to James Robert Washington Sr. and Freda Irene Turner.

He was a devoted husband and father, a hard worker, loved the Lord, and was greatly appreciated, loved and respected by his family and friends. He loved his biker family. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

Edward was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Ann Washington; his brother-in-law, Terry "Bubba" Bradshaw; and his cousin, Nolan Smiley.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Leona Washington of Dunbar; sons, Brennen Washington of South Charleston, Edward Ray Washington II of Dunbar; daughter, Anna Marie Washington of New York; step-sons, Travis John Troglin of Madison, OH, Tacota Miles Troglin of Dunbar; step-daughters, Sara Marie Knife and husband, Kevin, of Madison, OH, K.C. Frances Troglin of Dunbar, Olivia Smith; father and step-mother, James Robert and Jackie Washington of Poca; step-father and mother, Richard and Freda Turner, of Nitro; sisters, Freda Sanders and husband, Mark Jr,. of Nitro, Julia Washington of Nitro; brother, James Robert Washington Jr. and wife, Michelle, of Poca; step-brothers, Tommy Loudin and wife, Missy, of Poca, Wade Loudin of Poca; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a service Friday, November 3, at 12 p.m., at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Ravin Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may visit on Thursday, November 2, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
