Elaine K. Cramer, 87, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, after a short illness.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of South Charleston, but was currently attending Bethel Baptist Church in Spring Hill, West Virginia. She was a fifty year member of the Dunbar Chapter No. 133, Order of the Eastern Star.
Elaine was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Patricia Schrader; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Donna Cramer and Bryant and Peggy Cramer, all of South Charleston; sister, Mary Nida of Elkins, WV. She will also be missed by granddaughters, Melinda White and husband, Paul, Jaime Urban, Amy Cramer and Jessica Cramer; grandsons, Robert D. Cramer and Joshua Schrader; great grandchildren, Katherine, Kirsten and Hunter White. As a great lover of animals, especially dogs, Elaine will be greatly missed by the family dogs that she constantly spoiled: Blondie, her faithful companion and the grand pets as she lovingly referred to them: Max, Pepsi, Baby, Hershey, Abby and Buddy.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 7, at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 8, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens with the Reverend Charles Rhodes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
