Obituary

(Elder) Mrs. Lillian Dorothy (Jordon) Davis was born May 3, 1934, in McDowell County West Virginia, to the late Eva Lue Jordon and Elbert Jordon. She departed this life on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

She received her education in the public school system in Kanawha County, West Virginia where she was a graduate of Washington High School in London, West Virginia.

After high school she relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was formally employed by Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceuticals. She was a faithful worker and supervisor for many years until her retirement in 2006.

After moving to Philadelphia, she was baptized into to the Seventh – Day Adventist Movement to prepare and work for the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.  1 Corinthians 15: 51-54.

(Elder) Mrs. Davis served faithfully for over 30 years in the Remnant Church of:

Revelation 12:17 and Revelation 14:12.

She held the offices of Church Secretary, Sabbath School Superintendent, Sabbath School Teacher and 1st Elder in the Shiloh 7th Day Adventist Church in Huntington, West Virginia.  Most recently she was a faithful attendee of the Ashland 7th Day Adventist Church, Ashland, Kentucky.

A mother, grandmother, and friend, "Lillian" will forever be a part of our special memories. Though she is no longer with us physically, her loving, kind, and sweet spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all those who loved and knew her,

Those left to cherish Lillian's precious and fond memories are her daughters Gretta Denise Wright of Highpoint NC, Paula Phern Fisher of Lansdale, PA, her son, Jeffrey Carlton Felder of South Philadelphia, PA; sisters Delores Smith of Charleston, WV, Ginger Rogers Matthews of Santa Clairita, CA; brothers, Charles A. Jordon of Petersburg, VA , Elbert Jordon Jr of Hopkins, .SC, Joe L Jordon of San Diego, CA, Ronald L  Jordon Sr of Louisville, KY, Earon Jordon of Pasco, WA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grand and great grandchildren, and other loving friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Lue and Elbert; son, Donald Lanard Felder Jr.; sisters, Janey Mae, Peaches, Magnolia, Pauline, Earnestine, and Margret; and two brothers, Herman and Howard.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Berea Seventh-Day Adventist Church, South Charleston with Pastor Stephen T. Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.

Family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
