Eleanor "Cotton" Mae Boone

Eleanor “Cotton” Mae Boone, 95, of Glasgow, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

She was born on April 20, 1931 in Arbuckle, to the late Lester and Daisy Oldaker.

Cotton was a loving wife and mother, and she loved children, which lead to her working as a preschool teacher at Kiddie Kollege Daycare in Spring Hill.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Boone.

Cotton is survived by her two sons, William Franklin Boone II “Frank” and wife Helena of Ellijay, GA, and Robert Wayne Boone “Bobby” of Glasgow; grandchildren, William Franklin Boone III “Frank”, Bobby Jean Boone; along with two great granddaughters, Whitley Marie Boone and Jaycee Renee Browning; one great grandson, William Franklin Boone IV; along with one great-great grandson, Oakley Howell Allen.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor David Keeney officiating.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
