Eleanor Elaine Easley, born June 6, 1940, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, in Institute, WV.

A dedicated educator throughout her life, Eleanor inspired countless individuals as a creative teacher and mentor.  She passionately equated others with the tools of the mind, leaving a lasting impact on her students.

Eleanor is survived by her sons, Thomas William Wallace, Jr. and Martin Easley; and  her grandchildren, Louis Easley, Marsdan Easley, Simone Easley, and Sahlia Easley.

A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Eleanor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28 at the Institute Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Harold Gilmer officiating.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at the Church.
