Elizabeth Catherine Fleming Ashley, 86, of South Charleston, passed away Aug. 24, 2006 at the Hospice House of Huntington.
She was formerly employed by the Division of Vital Statistics for the State of WV. Mrs. Ashley was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in South Charleston.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Wayne Ashley and sisters, Mildred Clark, Joy Ballard and Ruth Lowry.
Mrs. Ashley is survived by her husband, David K. Ashley; daughters, Dorothy Jean Ashley of Sterling, VA and Sylvia Fields of Huntington; brother, Boyd Alexander Fleming of Bosier City, LA; sister, Norma Brown and her husband, Denzil of Seattle, WA. Also surviving is her beloved granddaughter, Carrie Fields of Huntington and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Joseph Wolfe and the Rev. Charles Rhodes officiating. Entombment will be in Grandview Memorial Park.
