Elizabeth Funfstuck's Obituary
Elizabeth Reed Funfstuck, 72, of Dunbar, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009, at her home after a short illness.
She was retired from WCHS and most recently served as a foster grandparent at Dunbar Elementary School. She graduated from Clendenin High School and was a Baptist. Elizabeth was proud of her service in the US Navy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theral Dewey and Lora Reed.
Surviving are her children, Olaf R. Funfstuck of St. Albans, Robert A. Funfstuck of Charleston and Lora Funfstuck Wudel of California; brother, David Reed of Aurora, CO; sister, Dorothy Robinson of Charleston; and her best friend, Ann Cowley of Dunbar. She is also survived by four grandsons, one granddaughter and two great granddaughters.
It was Elizabeth's request to be cremated and the viewing and graveside services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Elizabeth's memory to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd, W., Charleston, WV 25312-2536.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
