Elizabeth Jane Rhodes, 64, of Dunbar, passed away at home on Friday, December 5, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

She was retired from Thomas Memorial Hospital after many years of service.
Jane was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Wesley Hamrick, Jr. and her infant son, Dennis Alan Rhodes.

She is survived by her husband, Michael J Rhodes; daughters, Patricia J. Spencer (Darrin), and Jennifer J. Rhodes; son, Michael J. Rhodes, II (Tanis); mother, Patsy D. Hammack; sisters, Sharon A. Hall (Bill) , and Jennifer L. Portz (Ott); brother, Dennis I. Hamrick (Shalice). She is also survived by six grandchildren, Shelby L. Wray, Jonathan E. Wray, Justin D. Rhodes, Cassidy J. Rhodes, Dennis S. Ferrebee, and Madison Jane Ferrebee; and one great-grandchild, Averieauna Elizabeth J. Shaffer. Jane will also be greatly missed by her loyal companion, Coco.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Loretta Isaiah officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
