Elizabeth "Betty" Taber, 97, of Dunbar passed away on October 15, 2006 after a full and happy life.
One of 13 children, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert and son Morton, parents Joseph and Anna Semian and all siblings. She was originally from Finleyville, PA.
She was a loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She worked many years at Sloan's Department Store in Dunbar and Stone & Thomas Department Store in Charleston.
She enjoyed flowers and gardening, greatly loved her children and grandchildren and was a loyal friend to many. She will be missed by all.
Betty is survived by her son, Roger and his wife, Jean of Gainesville, Georgia; daughter, Ida Mae Snodgrass of South Charleston; grandchildren, Mort Taber, II of Morgantown, Matt Taber of Cross Lanes, Allie Sayre of Milton, Ashley Starnes of Lake Ariel, PA, Robbie Stephens of Germantown, Tennessee, Jacky Taber of Belleville, Mike Snodgrass of South Charleston and Deborah Knaak of Reno, Nevada; 9 great-grand children and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Thomas E. Stevens, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, where an Order of Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m., by Dunbar Chapter #133.
