Ella M. Rogers, 73, of Charleston, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

She was born on January 7, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York.

She leaves to join her parents, James Rogers and Theresa E. DeSarno Rogers; her only brother, Dee; four sisters, Theresa, Roberina, Irena, Rome; but most of all her son, Phillip.

Left to celebrate her life are two sisters, Camilla Anderson and Fannie Rogers; five children, Booker T. Rogers, James H. Rogers, Lucius M. Rogers, Jazmine F. Lawrence, and Franklin Rogers; daughters-in-law, Brandy Rogers and Sue Ann Rogers; seven granddaughters, Kamiya, Serena Jamia, Janisha, Jamara, Shakara, Layla; six grandsons, Booker, Terrence, Shaitek, Qujahe, Zion, Jalei, Sahion; and 17 great grandkids.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
