Ellen Louise Cox, 87, of Gallipolis, Ohio, formerly of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, May 26, 2017.

She was born on January 1, 1930, in Winfield to the late Herschel and Mimie Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Cox; sister, Alta Davis; brothers, Lonnie Taylor and Charles Taylor.

Ellen is survived by her daughter, Brenda Bryant of Vinton, OH; son, David Cox of Dayton, OH, sister, Barbara Mundy of Dunbar; brother, James Taylor of St. Albans; 7 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

There will be a visitation from 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, June 2, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
