Ellen Hicks' Obituary
Ellen Childress Hicks, 75, of Alum Creek, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Hubbard Hospice House, after a short illness.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey C. and Esther Ann Childress; and niece, Marilyn Kay Stanley.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband, Warren Hicks; step daughters, Marcia Shifflet, Shirley Elliott; sister, Margaret A. Osborne; aunt, Norma Loftis; nephew, David Osborne; nieces, Carolyn Norvell, Leigh Ann Roberts; cousin, Jackie Wingler; special friends, Carlita Wright, Joyce Bailey.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 21, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Minister Jason Stanley officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
