Elliott Howard Martin's Obituary
Elliott Howard Martin, 70, of Sissonville, was called to be with the Lord after a tragic tractor accident on Friday, September 20, 2013.
He was retired from the Cross Lanes Christian School and was a member of the North Hills Baptist Church. He volunteered for the Jolly Seniors in Cross Lanes and served as the chaplain for the Roxalana Fellowship Group. Mr. Martin was an avid antique car enthusiast and was a caregiver for his mother-in-law, Phyllis Holley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Oscar and Inez Irene Martin, brothers, Thomas and Robert Martin and by his son, Scott Elliott Martin.
Surviving are his loving wife, Pamela Jean Martin; daughters, Lisa Michelle Jordan and husband, Bill and Angela Dawn Walker and husband, Kevin; brothers, Norman, Russell, Harold and Larry Abe Martin; sisters, Kate Allen, Ruthie Payne, Marion White, Delores Keeling and Debbie McVey.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, at the North Hills Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Harper officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
