Elmer Franklin Fisher Jr., of Charleston, and formerly of Dunbar, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 24, 2012. He was 78.
He was a loving son, husband, father and Poppy. He was the owner and operator of Kanawha Valley Tile. He was an Army Veteran. He was active in Woodward Woods Mission Church in Charleston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Maudie Fisher.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Jo Fisher; daughters, Connie and Amir Raissi of Cross Lanes, and Stephanie Fisher of Charleston; son, Joseph and Diana Fisher of Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Savannah Smith-Edens and Chris Jones of Charleston, Justin and Cari Fisher of Cross Lanes; Pezhmon and Sahson Raiss of Maryland; great grandchildren Robbie, Jada, Jake, Jaylen & Jasmine Edens.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 26, or one hour prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
