Emogene Baldwin Jenkins, 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday November 13, 2015 after a long illness.

She was born in Logan on April 13, 1932 to the late Ellie and Goldie Baldwin. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Emogene had been a born again Christian since 1961. She was faithful to God and loved to sing with her family, the Faith Gospel Singers for 44 years. Emogene loved to go camping with her church family. She was a member of the Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle Church for 38 years.

In addition to her parents, Emogene was preceded in death by her sisters, Iona (Bill) Dent and Irene (Ed) McNeely; brother, Ralph Baldwin; and great-grandson, Dakota Rogers.

Her family was her life, starting with her husband of 61 years, Robert "Bob" Jenkins; daughter, Connie (Ricky) Carpenter; son, Stan Jenkins; granddaughters, Kirstan (Scott) Rogers, Alisha (Clay) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Isaiah Rogers who all reside in Sissonville.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, at Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle with Pastor Robert Legg and the Rev. Roy Moles officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories.

Friends may call one and a half hours prior to the service at the church.
