Ernestine Cunningham, 75, of Dunbar, passed from this life to enter eternal joy with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was a member of the West Dunbar Community Church and was a true example of a Lady and a Christian. She will always be priceless beyond words and loved beyond measure by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Adrin Cunningham, parents, Roy and Leota Gardner, one sister, Katherine Gardner and one brother, Willard Gardner, all of Dunbar.

Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Sue Cunningham, with whom she resided in Dunbar and Ann Lester and her husband, Ronnie of Dunbar; granddaughter, Rachel Cantrell of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Ryan Lester and his wife, Cindi of Nitro; her beloved great grandchildren that she was blessed to live to see, twins, Victoria Grace and Jayden Matthew Lester of Nitro; two sisters-in-law, Rebra Brannon and her husband, Larry of Nitro and Wanda Cunningham of Cross Lanes; additional "daughters", niece, Joyce Beller of Eleanor, Diana McGinnis of Tyler Mountain, Diana Tucker of Dunbar and Melody Lucas of Dunbar.

A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 at 3:00pm at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Roy Jarrell, the Rev. Victor Keathley, the Rev. Doyle Young and Rick Workman officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday.
