Ernestine Williams departed this life at 86 years of age on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

She was born in Putnam County, Raymond City, West Virginia. Ernestine received her education at Garnet High School in Charleston, West Virginia.  She began her career as a secretary working at a medical office in Queens, New York where she lived for 20 years.  Ernestine later relocated to North Carolina often working in In-Home Health Care dedicating her life as a caretaker for others before returning home to West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her son, Cornelius Williams; mother, Annie Warren-Williams; father, Brawley Williams; and sister, Alberta Martin.

Ernestine leaves behind granddaughters, Christina Cunningham and Brandi Lifford (Leoma); brothers, Joseph Williams (Arlene) and Matthew Wiliams.  She was affectionately know as "Granny" to her four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Ernestine was also loved and adored by a host of nieces, nephews, and life lone friends.

A funeral will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
