Ethel Virginia McCue, 89, of Charleston, went to be with The Lord on September 1, 2013 after a long illness.
She was retired from Dunbar Printing and was a volunteer grandmother at Piedmont Elementary. She also worked Triumph Ordinance Factory in Elkton, Maryland during World War II. She was formerly employed by Matthew Printing and Jarrett Printing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McCue; brother, Ralph Kincaid; sisters, Pearl Strader, Irene "Pete" McCue , Ellen Cook, Mary Purnell.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lathey and her husband Rod; grandson, Captain Jason Lathey and his wife Alisha; great-granddaughter, Morgan Lathey; and sister, Helen Safreed.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 4 at First Church of the Nazarene, Charleston with Pastor Randy D. Lanham officiating.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to service. Burial will be held at Walker Memorial Park, Summersville at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 4.
