Eugene Kiser, 83, of Nitro, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at Valley Center.
He was a former employee of Libby-Owens-Ford Glass Co. and was owner of Gene's Red X Service Station in Wisconsin. Mr. Kiser was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and WW II.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Kiser; son, Eugene Addison Kiser of Clarksburg; daughters, Joyce Sabel of Eleanor and Judy Taylor of Charleston; step-son, William Marty of Nitro; step-daughters, Patricia Westfall of Charleston and Linda Cowley of Nitro; brothers, Leo Kiser, Sr. and Tom Kiser of Wisconsin; sister, Bernice Taylor of St. Albans; ten grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Ronald Bates officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Kiser Cemetery, Jackson County.
