Eugene "Gene" Young, 75, of Dunbar passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024.

He was born on March 4, 1949 to the late Aubrey "Bob" Young and Electa Henson Young in Charleston, WV.

Eugene was retired from the West Virginia State Agency for Surplus Property and served in the Air National Guard for six years.  He had a love for all things fishing, cooking, gardening, photography, and he played the guitar.

Left to remember Gene are his brother, Alan Young; sister-in-law, Lucinda Young; four nieces, and many friends he me along the way.

There are no services scheduled.

Eugene was laid to rest in Grandview Memorial Park.
