Eula Jean Cain, 72, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2009 after a short illness in Thomas Memorial Hospital.

Jean graduated from Dunbar High School, class of 1955. She was a homemaker and a former nurse at Thomas Memorial Hospital. Jean is a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church and a loving, dedicated daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Elvin Mundy.

Mrs. Cain is survived by her mother, Elsie Mundy of Dunbar; her loving husband of 52 years, Carl B. "Peachy" Cain; son, Carl "Rick" Cain of Dunbar; daughters, Connie Hudson of Charleston, Ashley Cain of Dunbar;
granddaughter, Kayla Cunningham of Charleston, Brandy Cohen of Dunbar, Sandra Ward of Dunbar, Tonya Harrington of Nitro; grandsons, Zachary and Nathan Hudson of Charleston; 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, at Fairlawn Baptist Church, Dunbar, with Rev. Harold B. White, Jr. officiating. Burial
will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
